MORE PACKAGES!!!

Another day of packages! It is well warranted to go over packages. We went over a couple of personnel packages just to test my knowledge.

We looked over random film again to look over the packages moving rather than diagrams. As I mentioned before, going over the positions and then moving into the packages helps a lot.  

We had gotten a little carried away with offense packages, so we decided to split this meeting for defense, and the second meeting would be a defense film study meeting. We started on defense formations. 4-3 defense, 3-4 defense, 5-2 defense. We went over the positions and what they do then went back into the formations.

2 hrs:

We looked over the same formations and added 4-4 defense and 46 defense for this meeting. During this meeting, Coach Woodson quizzed me on where the players would be positioned on the field in certain formations. He reassured me it was okay if I was super confident, considering I just learned the formations. I did well. I was surprised; due to being more nervous, I would confuse them with a similar offensive formation. Everything is slowly coming together and making more sense as we go on with the packages and formations.
