FILM DAY!

Film Day (6 hours)

Coach Woodson decided that we should have a film day today. BOY OH BOY! I honestly was not prepared for today. I just feel there is only so much film you can handle in a day, but he decided to dedicate the entire meeting to film. BUT I have to soak up as much information as I can. Of course today Coach Woodson decides that I will dissect random film videos and answer the hardest questions, I have ever been asked in relation to football. He took notes on what he felt I looked too much into, formations I didn’t recognize, and general plays I didn’t notice. Again, another eye-opening meeting in relation to studying film. I love that Coach Woodson reassures me that over time, studying and dissecting film will eventually become second nature, and I will get better as we continue. Coach Woodson also recommended during the time we are meeting enroll in a scouting course or find videos on YouTube that may simplify recruiting. Though I may think that there is only so much film I can handle, there is no such thing and I should immerse myself in recruiting.
