I am beginning to become more confident with looking over film and discussing the findings with Coach Woodson. I expressed to Coach Woodson how, with us looking over the film, looking over the opponent's film seems so much harder and important. I believe that when recruiting athletes and looking over their film, we are looking more so into their physical attributes, executing in their position, and how they would be a fit at the school. Compared to the intricacies of opponent film. However, each coach is assigned to break down film to their specific players. Looking over the film can determine a win. You’re getting an inside look into the team, and able to tailor your athletes around them to have an overall win over the opponent. He agreed he is very thorough and intricate when going over his opponent's films.
We went over another scenario where we looked over the opponent’s film. I went through and identified different aspects. Coach Woodson then went through it as he would if he were taking notes for a meeting. So, I was able to again get insight and watch him do it. We have been over this before, but there are things he newly mentioned I was able to add to my notes.

For this last meeting, Coach Woodson went through the two scenarios as if he were recruiting a high school athlete and preparing an opponent’s film. He again went over the majority of things coaches look for when looking over those two types of film. Just for more reference.
I then completed the last scenario of correcting an athlete from previous practice films and previous game films.
Overall, our meetings have been going very well and have been informative. We are slowly approaching the end! I believe that in these short weeks, we have covered a lot. I can’t wait to see what Coach Woodson has for the upcoming weeks.
